In 1990, with "Ladies First," a collaboration with Lattifah, Monie became the first idol rapper for me. That rapid-fire flow was amazing. The jacket of her debut album was too cool, but this one, including the current one, with its cute jackets, perfectly captured my heart, as if she was heading straight for idol-dom. Speaking of Monie, it would have to be ♪It's a Shame♪ from ①, but I have tons of favorite songs, including those I couldn't live without. During her heyday, I was the only one around me who was going crazy about Monie, Monie, but I'm sure there are fans somewhere in Japan who are just as big fans as I am...
